Since wood is a valuable natural resource and its over use has an impact on the environment, therefore we are committed to use it in the most efficient and best possible way. There is less environmental impact when we add value and make it a heirloom furniture piece, rather than a piece which will fail or has a "fashion life". To us Green manufacturing means developing designs that can endure structurally and artistically, and to last for generations without harming the environment. Furthermore, we are committed to hardwoods from only sustainable forests by adhering to chain of custody practice. And we strive to recycle all our manufacturing waste products.

Woods We Use

Sheesham (Dalbergia Latifolia)

Sheesham is part of the Rosewood family. It has inspired woodworkers across the world for many eras. The perfect color of Rosewood with dark streaks and narrowly banded interlocked grain is neither too showy nor too subdued. It is used for superior cabinet making, intricate carving and production of high-class furniture. The heartwood is described as golden brown to deep brown in color, with darker streaks that give the wood an attractive appearance. The wood is hard, with a uniform and medium coarse texture. Natural resistance to decay is very high.

Walnut (Juglans Regia)

Walnut is used for fine furniture, carving, architectural woodwork, musical instruments, decorative panels, interior trim, and flooring. Large amounts are also used for veneer. Walnut takes any finish and most complement the lovely satin sheen of the wood. It polishes well. Planning, turning, shaping, routing and sanding all produce crisp detail, thus a wood of choice for beautiful carved furniture pieces.

Red Oak (Quercus)

Red Oak heartwood is pinkish and reddish brown. Red Oak finishes and stains easily, however it is very difficult and challenging to carve upon. It has none of the blotching problems that are associated with birch or maple and is used to build furniture, veneer, and flooring. The wood is mostly straight grained with coarse texture.

Ash (Fraxinus spp)

Ash heartwood varies from grayish brown to light brown, to pale yellow streaked with brown. Ash is normally straight grained with coarse uniform texture. Ash is straight grained, heavy, hard, strong, and stiff; it wears smooth, with high shock resistance. Ash machines well, and is good in nailing and screwing, and can be polished to very good finish.

Acacia Arabica (Leguminosae)

Heartwood is reddish brown in color. It has normally straight interlocked grain, some what wavy and has high luster. Highly shock resistant with natural resistance to decay. The wood is hard, with a uniform and medium coarse texture.
